Allie Rogers was born and raised in Brighton. She’s the small, anxious person in the romper suit.

Allie’s short fiction has been published in several magazines and anthologies including Bare Fiction, Queer in Brighton and The Salt Anthology of New Writing. She has performed at local live literature events including the Charleston Small Wonder Flash Fiction Slam, which she won in 2014.

Little Gold, Allie’s first novel, was published by Legend Press in 2017. Drawing a great deal on her memories of the Brighton of her childhood, the book received stunning reviews and was longlisted for the Author’s Club Best First Novel Award in March 2018.

Allie’s second novel, Tale of a Tooth, published by Legend Press in April 2018, addresses the issue of domestic abuse in a same-sex relationship. Told in the voice of an atypical four year old child, it is both intense and immersive.

Allie is available to visit book clubs of all sizes as well as for appearances at literary festivals and other events.
